You.InControl is a trading name of Encore Construction Services Pty Ltd (ECS Pty Ltd), ABN 74 098 982 195, based in Canberra, Australia. In these terms, "we", "us" and "our" refer to that entity. "You" means anyone who uses our website or buys our products.

About our products

You.InControl is a wireless control and automation system. Product information on this site is provided in good faith. Specifications, features and pricing can change without notice.

Some installation work - anything involving 240V wiring - must be performed by a licenced electrician in accordance with Australian standards and local regulations. We don't provide electrical installation services and we're not responsible for installations carried out by others.

Orders and payment

Online orders are placed through Shopify-hosted checkout. All prices are in Australian dollars and include GST unless stated otherwise. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order - for example, if a product is out of stock, if pricing was incorrectly displayed, or if we suspect fraud.

An order is confirmed when we send you an order confirmation email. Title to the goods passes to you on full payment.

Shipping, returns and warranty

Shipping, returns and warranty terms are set out on the Shipping, Returns and Warranty pages and form part of these terms.

Your responsibilities

You're responsible for installing and using our products safely, in line with the supplied manuals and any relevant laws. You're responsible for arranging any licenced trades required for installation. You agree not to use the system for any illegal purpose.

Intellectual property

All content on this site - text, images, logos, designs, code and product documentation - is owned by us or used with permission. You may view and download it for personal, non-commercial use. You may not republish, sell, modify or otherwise use our content for commercial purposes without our written consent.

Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL) or other consumer protection laws that can't be excluded.

Subject to those non-excludable rights, to the maximum extent permitted by law our liability for any claim arising from the use of this site or our products is limited, at our option, to repair or replacement of the product, or to a refund of the price paid.

We're not liable for any indirect, special or consequential loss - including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption - arising from the use or inability to use the site or our products.

Third-party links

Our site may link to third-party sites for convenience. We're not responsible for the content, accuracy or practices of those sites.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Changes apply from the date posted. Continued use of the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Australian Capital Territory. Any dispute will be dealt with in the courts of the ACT, or any other Australian court with proper jurisdiction.
