A wireless control and automation system, designed and built in Canberra. It controls lights, fans, pumps, gates, irrigation and other equipment - wirelessly, with no WiFi, no internet and no cloud.

A Controller acts as the brain. Switches and Remotes talk to it on 915MHz LoRa radio. Relays wired into your 240V loads receive its commands. Press a button and the system acts - directly, with no internet in between.

Over 1km in open air. Typical real-world range through buildings and trees is around 800m for the Switch and 600m for the Remote. We've achieved up to 7.5km with clear line of sight and careful antenna placement.

No. The system runs on its own 915MHz radio. No WiFi, no internet, no mobile signal, no cloud account.

The system keeps working. It doesn't need the internet.

Yes. End-to-end encrypted on every transmission. No data leaves your property. No cloud servers. No third parties watching what you switch on and off.

A Switch lasts 5+ years between charges. A Remote lasts around 3 years. Recharge them over USB like a power tool.

You can install the wireless parts yourself - Switches, Remotes, sensors. They're low voltage, battery powered, and pair to the Controller in seconds. Anything mains powered (the Controller's mains supply, Relays wired into 240V equipment) must be installed by a licenced electrician. That's Australian law.

Yes. They're wireless and battery powered. Move them anywhere on the property whenever you like. Stick them to a wall, drop them on a bedside table, clip them to the car visor.

Yes. Pair new devices to your existing Controller in seconds. No reconfiguration. Start small, grow as you need.

Both. You.InControl works in new builds, renovations, retrofits, rural properties, sheds and commercial fit-outs. The wireless side means you don't need to damage walls running new control cable.

Yes, though metal sheds can dampen the signal. From the Devices page on the Controller you can ping the device, check signal strength, and turn the transmit power up if needed. There's more we can do beyond that - if a particular setup is giving you trouble, give us a call and we'll talk through it.
